Christchurch is verdant, floral, and blossomy.
On Suffrage Day, the Kate Sheppard Memorial was festooned with camellias.
Daffodils: Linwood Avenue.
Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
Cuningham House in the Botanic gardens.
A blue heron in Linwood Park.
Flowers and diggers.
Random poeticisms.
New Zealand IceFest starts on Saturday 27 September. The hub in town looks cool like an icehouse. There is a Hagglund in Cathedral Square.
And an icy themed mural takes shape on the side of the Public Trust.
A digger flying over the Government Life building in Cathedral Square, as demolition takes it gradually down.
The reflection of Rydges in the new building at 151 Cambridge Terrace. It is one of my favourites of the new buildings, like the stately prow of a futuristic ship.
