So 2016 hasn’t been great huh? That’s the meme. That it’s been a shit year. Smacking us all right in the gooch. Terrorism, celebrity deaths, poverty, Trump, we’ve had a lot. So I thought in honour of it being such a shitter let’s take a look at some good things.
Hi friends, it’s been a while.
Today I’m voting to keep a flag that I’ve wanted to change since I was six.
Recognising some of the best and worst things that happened in New Zealand this year.
And now the end is near. And so I face the final curtain.
Cosentino is an Australian illusionist and escapologist. He’s a multi-talented guy. One of those people that you suspect might be better than you at everything.
We live in a world of hyperbole. We live in a country that suffers from an est-est complex and now this seems to be spreading.
I pretty much disagree with the man on every political level imaginable, but he is also a friend. He’s planning on running in the London Marathon and raising money for the Cancer Society.
In the end, the end came at the beginning, but for some reason even the end felt like a beginning of a kind.
Cricket. It’s never been on such a high in this country. And boy are we excited.
So in a fit of collaboration, I thought I’d ask my friends, family, Twitter followers and Facebook pals to name me one song that I would add to a Spotify playlist.
I haven’t really been blogging much lately. I haven’t really felt like there was something that I should talk about.
Over the weekend just gone, I was at a social gathering where someone suggested we play Presidents and Assholes (or just “Presidents” as some may know it).
I was sent an article to read by sometime-Ruminator author Jarrod Baker; it was about Twitter shaming.
I’m going to start an infrequent series where my parents are going to assess the dating rituals of today’s youth. But for this to happen I need YOUR help.
